A Year in Review: Mt Baker Vapor in Arizona

It’s been just a year since our relocation to Arizona from Washington State. It feels like it was just yesterday and ages ago at the same time. It has been extremely eventful, and challenging at times. Moving a company across multiple state lines (and to the opposite climate) is no small feat, but Mt Baker Vapor has made it work. Check out our Arizona year in review!

The Move:

Hundreds of miles of this. A lot of this.

There was a mad scramble for U-Haul vans, storage facilities, and available apartments. Several waves of employees came down in clusters, crashing in seedy hotels, and stopping at bewildering rest-stops along the way.

Setting Up:

Getting to Arizona was one thing. Setting up was another. Our facilities crew was in a constant state of motion. We were all called upon to help set up our offices, from the hauling of cubicles to the hanging of posters. In the transition period, we had to do some improvising:

A throne fit for a king.

Vape Meets:

Over the last year, we attended a few vape meets. Vapor Dynasty, Vapin the Sun, AZ Bike Week, and GWAR B-Q were tremendous fun, and great opportunities to interact with the vaping masses.

Zay takes a moment to chuck a fat cloud.

Solar Panels:

One of our most exciting developments was the installation of solar panels. The process took several months of decisive planning and hard work, but no cost is too high for sustainable business practices. We’re proud to make a positive environmental impact!

A little ray of sunshine in every bottle!

Company Events:

Every now and then, a company must have a picnic. We’ve enjoyed some remarkable food, played some fierce games of basketball, and basked in the rejuvenating glow of corporate recognition. Even in the maddening heat, we managed to have a good time.

A company picnic of biblical proportions.

Retail Grand Opening:

It took a year, but we opened a retail shop in Arizona! Vapers from miles around attended the event, and enjoyed the wonders of the Mt Baker Vapor retail shop. A dunk tank was erected, cornhole was jubilantly played, and customers erupted massive plumes of vapor from their newly-purchased goods. It was a day for the history books.

A particularly handsome employee takes a stab at the dunk tank.

Well, there you have it, vape fans! A year has gone by. We’re all a little tanner, with three times as many pairs of shorts, but otherwise, we’re the same great company. Who knows what glory lies in the next year?

I’m not going to take a picture of my driver license and send it to whomever to buy e liquid. That’s just ridiculous.

    • Tim Mechling says:

We understand how you feel. We’re just doing everything in our power to be FDA compliant. Be sure to check out our retail store, if online verification is too much to ask!

  • Jason says:

Really wish I could be a part of MT BAKER VAPOR! Ever need a Canadian rep let me know 😀

  • Mitch Rubin says:

Wait wait wait. I thought i was the defacto canadian rep. You know what this means…………vape off!!

  • Mitch Rubin says:

Look at the mane on Tmech. My goodness Tim, you look like you should be hunting wild bore in South Africa. How do you do it? What’s the secret?

  • Ginny says:

Disappointed in Mt. Baker Vapor moving to Arizona. Even more saddened at not being able to purchase the 236ml bottles of E-juice. Hope it’s back someday.

    • Josh Hanna says:

We had to move because of the legislation in WA 🙁 We are working on a bulk pricing option but there is not any information about this yet. We will definitely keep everyone in the loop on it though.

  • zach says:

    Glad the relocation went well!
