Vapor Visuals: Downtown Mesa

Hey there vape fans! This week we explored the area of downtown Mesa to see everything they have to offer. With a huge collection of outdoor sculptures, a thriving local culture, and a diverse music scene, Mesa did not disappoint. We look forward to spending more time in this wonderful town.

Light Rail

Getting into most downtown areas can be a bit of a hassel with traffic, parking, and pedestrains. But Mesa makes life easy with an affordable metro light rail that drops you off smack dab in the heart of downtown!

Raptor statue

One of the first things I came across was the Arizona Museum of Natural History and this amazing statue. It turns out that Mesa has a great dinosaur exhibit! Pairing that with the chance to pan for gold makes Mesa a great experience for both kids and adults!

Humpty Dumpty

One thing you will be sure to notice as you walk along Main St. are all the sculptures everywhere. Here we find Humpty before he became all dumpty.

Mother Bear

Mesa has a growing permanent sculpture collection that currently features 38 pieces of work. The city also offers a free self-guided walking tour of the sculptures with a printable map you can get from the cities website.

Another example of the many sculptures we found that day.

Red chairs

You can really tell how much Mesa appricates the arts. Apart from all the sculptures, the Mesa Arts Center is also located smack-dab in the middle of downtown. If you ever find yourself there, be sure to check out these fun chairs. It was like sitting on a spinning top, I spent way too much time on these, and loved every second of it!

Mesa Music

It just so happened that the day I visited was also the first ever Mesa Music Festival!

Street Music

The festival featured live music all up and down Main St. with performers both inside shops and out on the street. With over 200 musical acts I can say that for a first time visitor, I was seriously impressed.

Overall downtown Mesa provided much entertainment, more than could fit into just one day. From good food and drinks, to shopping and art. Mesa offers something for everyone and I for one, am looking forward to my next trip to heart of Mesa.

Looks really cool! Totally different atmosphere than what im used to here in Toronto or in any big city for that matter. The humpty dumpty pic reminds me of vaping! Was it just me? Right when i saw the pic the first thing i thought was its a pic of a new juice on ur site lol! Like the colours or his clothes and the whole picture itself. What were u vaping that day? U took some good pics, must’ve been vaping some artsy ejuice! Perhaps cranberry crumble? Or maybe happy rancher? Lol. Wtvr it was the whole article and pics are great!
