Stocking Up on E-juice
Keeping Your e-juice ‘Juicy’ – Storage Tips
Nothing beats vaping after a hearty meal! But when you drew out your e-cigarette, you can only stare at it in horror: “I’m out of e-juice!”
Running out of e-liquid is one of the biggest and most common problems faced by vapers. As a solution, many have stocked up on their favorite e-juice flavors so they can keep smoking for weeks or months without any worry. But the question is: How long is the lifespan of e-juices? How do you store so the flavor is preserved for a long time?
How Long Are e-Juice’s Supposed To Last?
e-Juices can have a pretty long lifespan. If you store them in air-tight bottles that are not opened day-in day-out, you can expect your e-juice to last anywhere from 12 to 24 months.
However, there are other factors in play like the purity of the nicotine used, the quality of the flavoring and the manufacturing process. It’s hard to determine the exact lifespan, but 12-to-24 months is a good ballpark figure.
Storage Tips For Flavored e-Juice
If you prefer flavored e-juices, you want to grab a couple of empty and small 10 ml bottles. You can store your e-juices in these 10 ml bottles – ready for everyday use and direct dripping into your electronic cigarette. This is way better than storing your e-juice in one larger bottle that you have to open everyday just to refill your tank. Exposing your e-juice to open air too many times can spoil the flavor.
Once you have stored your flavored e-juices in small 10 ml bottles, you should:
- Store them in a cool, dry place.
- Keep them away from children and pets. You don’t want accidents!
- Many vapers have noticed that light seems to speed-up the deterioration of e-juices so place them somewhere dark – away from sunlight.
How To Store Flavorless Nicotine Juice
Other vapers love the DIY route – they get flavorless nicotine juice and create their own mix. There’s nothing wrong with that, though we’d love it more if you’d buy flavored juice from us.
Just keep in mind that storing flavorless nicotine requires greater care especially if you’re the sort who buys flavorless nicotine. Nicotine, in its pure form, can be quite poisonous when it gets through the skin or when ingested. Again, keep it out of reach from children and pets.
One more thing to you should remember is that flavorless nicotine juice deteriorates faster than flavored e-juice. With that in mind, if you want to stock up on pure-grade nicotine juice, don’t buy more than 6 to 8 months-worth as they start to decompose after that period. Your nicotine juice will start losing flavor and you won’t get the same throat hit that you get from a new batch.
