Golden Rules of Vaping!

When it comes to vaping, there are a lot of things that every vaper should know. Unfortunately, a lot of these things aren’t implemented in our day-to-day vaping rituals. Recently, we conducted a giveaway asking vapers from Reddit to provide us with their golden rules of vaping. We got a lot more rules than expected, and decided that we should let all of you know what those rules are! Without further ado, here are the Golden Rules of Vaping!

1: /u/comoestasbitcheZ – “Never leave your vape in your car on a hot day.ever. not even once”

With recent reports of batteries exploding in people’s pockets, this was a great tip to start off with. When batteries vent they can get really nasty and do a lot of damage. That is why we are always pushing battery safety when we talk about any piece of hardware.

2: /u/aimlessfocus – “Never drip and drive”

You might think that you are some type of multi-tasking god, but it’s a terrible idea. I have been in cars with people that think they can drip and drive, and it is terrifying! Be smart, vape smart.

3: /u/wbgraphic – “Don’t proselytize. Talk about it if they ask, but mind your own damed business otherwise.”

The last thing anyone wants is to be approached by someone preaching about something they don’t care about. If they ask about what you’re using or what you’re vaping, then let them know! Other than that, don’t force your knowledge of vaping upon them.

4: /u/dripanddrip – “Don’t vape where you wouldn’t smoke”

Every vaper knows that vaping isn’t smoking, but not every person knows what vaping is. I’ll admit that I’m guilty of not following this rule, but I wasn’t blowing clouds the size of someone’s head. If you can be discrete while vaping, go for it!

You can definitely get your crusty lips away from me, random person asking to hit my vape. There are few people that I will let hit my vape, and I hit theirs. All in all, keep yo’ crusties to yo’self.

There were a lot of golden rules submitted, but only the best could be selected. When it comes down to it we should be practicing safety at all times while we vape. If we all stay aware of what we are doing, there shouldn’t be any problems. Follow these golden rules of vaping, and you will be good to go. Vape on!

I like these. Don’t vape where you wouldn’t smoke. Just don’t ever assume that your cool to go ahead and vape inside, anywhere you go. Always ask or just go outside and vape.

  • Jerry says:

    Always check your battery wraps.

So many people I WOULD let hit mine I don’t because I have teach the the correct way to DL hit. I just tell them they can get a decent device for 20.00 bucks and I’ll share my juice plenty. Lol..

    Good read!

    • David Ouillette says:

What would be a decent device at $20? I admit, I kind of jumped off the deep end when I started and walked out of the vape shop almost 150$ lighter. Really at $20, I know a few smokers I would buy these for, just so they can give it a try.

I started with the Kanger Evod back when it was around $40+ dollars. That starter kit is now lower priced ($29.49) and if they’re a really good friend you can get them the Kanger Evod Mega Starter Kit for just $21.99, huzzah for glass tank!

Honestly I am going back to vaping and as just minutes ago I experienced my first cracked tank that Evod Mega is looking perfect.

As I said I started with the Evod knowing relatively nothing about vaping aside from a few discussions with a friend and I was able to jump right in and have a great experience.

Rule #3 is a tough one. Being a smoker for so many years and being so grateful to find vaping you kinda want to share it. I have friends and roomies that still smoke and I wish they would switch but they have not asked so I don’t push it.

  • Justin says:

Get your scuzzy lips off my vape

  • Anthony Ruggles says:

Yeah trying to get my smoker friends to switch to vaping is hard, but I don’t think they will ever make the switch. They’re too far gone 🙁

  • Au2 says:

Absolutely love this post. I agree completely. Especially with the don’t vape where you wouldn’t smoke.

    • Josh Hanna says:

That is my favorite one. I let people know when they vape where they shouldn’t. Usually, they get offended because I told them but it makes them stop.

  • E. O. says:

Nice list! Being in the Houston heat, I do my best to never leave my pen out in the car.

  • Jacob says:

Yeahh truth! I left my first pen in my car this summer but thanks, God nothing happened 😀
