Update: The Mt Baker Vapor Loyalty Program!

In the spirit of our commitment to outstanding customer service, we are proud to announce the revamped Mt Baker Vapor Loyalty Program! Customers will be rewarded via your Mt Baker Vapor account for all purchases that you make, and for interacting with us on various social platforms. Here’s a crash course in our Loyalty Program, with some frequently-asked-questions:

How do I earn points? There are several ways to accrue Loyalty points. They can be divided into three categories: Onsite Actions, Share Socially, and Connect/Follow. Onsite actions include: Making a purchase, creating an account via social login, commenting on our blog, enrolling in the loyalty program, subscribing to our newsletter, and referring a friend to purchase. Social Share actions: Friend referral from a facebook share, friend referral with a twitter share, friend referral from an email share, or friend referral from a google share. Connect and Follow actions: Connect on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest.

Do I need an MBV account to start getting points? To accumulate points, having a Mt Baker Vapor account is a prerequisite. This is the only way we’ll be able to track your loyalty point progress.

How do I redeem my points? On the Your Shopping Cart page, immediately before checkout, you’ll see a small tab on the lower-left that reads “Redeem Loyalty Rewards.” Click the box, and select the amount you’d like to redeem.Screen-Shot-2015-08-21-at-4.43.01-PM-1024x428Store credit from your loyalty points will show up on your My Account page on the left side of the screen.Screen-Shot-2015-09-24-at-11-624x252

How do I apply my store credit? To redeem this credit, begin the checkout process. When you get to the Order Confirmation page, there will be a section titled How Would You Like to Pay. Under this section there are options for paying with store credit or paying with Credit Card. Select the Pay using my store credit option. If you have enough store credit to cover the cost of your order, you may complete your order by clicking the “Verify Age and Proceed” button:Screen-Shot-2015-09-24-at-10.29.15-AMIf you do not have enough store credit to cover the cost of your order, leave the “Pay using my store credit” radio button selected. Do not select “Pay using Credit Card” as that will remove the store credit from your purchase. After you click “Verify Age and Proceed” you will be prompted to enter your credit card information on the next page to complete your purchase.

What happens if I forget to apply the store credit on my order? Your store credit will remain on your account until the credit is used for a future purchase. We are unable to cancel or issue a refund for the order you have already placed.

Do my points expire? Points earned before April 25, 2016 will be expired on April 25, 2017. All points earned before April 25, 2016 will be nullified in April of 2017. Be sure to check out our full explanation of loyalty point expiration.

Starting on April 26, 2017, Loyalty Points will have a 365-day lifespan. If you earned points any time this last year, those points will be valued until the one-year anniversary of the points being attributed. This will be the process, moving forward. Points earned after April 25, 2016 will expire on a rolling, everyday-basis. Just know that one year is the magic number.

What are my points worth? Loyalty points convert in increments of 250. 250 points equals $5; 500 points equals $10; 750 points equals $15; and 1000 points equals $20. Those points really add up, so get active with Mt Baker Vapor!

I changed my email address and my points disappeared. What happened?Loyalty points are tracked by the email address associated with your MBV account. When you change your email address for your account, the system can no longer track those points, and you would start earning points on the new email address. Changing the email address associated with your Mt Baker Vapor account will result in the permanent deletion of any points earned under your old email address. If you would like to change email addresses, be sure to contact our Customer Service team first, to ensure that you do not lose access to your loyalty points!

I referred my friend to MBV. Do I get points for that? In order for a referral to result in points, you’ll have to click the links under the “Share Socially” section on our Loyalty Program page.

I just made a purchase, but I’m not seeing any points for it. What happened? Loyalty points from a purchase will appear in your account 48 hours after the point your order is shipped. Good things come to those who wait!

How do I get points for Social Media shares? First you will need to share a link to Mt Baker Vapor via the buttons under the “Share Socially” section on our Loyalty Program page. Someone will then need to click on the link you shared. If that person proceeds to make a purchase, you will receive points. Be sure to share as often as you can, to ensure someone clicks your links!

Can I share my points? No. Since the points are attributed to your email address, the points cannot be relocated to a different email address. As much as we love to spread the love, you’ll have to keep your points to yourself.

    I don’t like the fact that to enroll in this that the public can have access to my information on FaceBook or any other websites. My computer has been hacked too many times to allow this. It really upsets me since you made your move your changing how loyalty towards your company works. I’ve ordered from your company for a long time and now I’m wondering if I should continue.

      We don’t want to impose anything on our customers that makes them uncomfortable. Participation in the Loyalty Program is your choice, and we will not force your hand. Web security is a serious concern, but we’ve insured the Loyalty Program’s safety and security for our customers. I’d recommend contacting Customer Service to rectify any concerns your may have.

    However, I have a new set of questions:
    1) Can I get the points for subscribing to the newsletter by unsubscribing then subscribing again?
    2)How can I get the points for enrolling in the program if I was already automatically enrolled but the points aren’t showing up in my Loyalty Activity?

    So I logged in using Google+ and it must have created a new account for me because the user name is different or something. I’ve got my account that I use that I’ve been earning points with. Then if I log in with Google+ it takes me to an account with only 20 points for that log in and none of my previous orders and whatnot.

    This is excellent news. Halo has had a program like this but since I only purchased replacement parts for their hardware, it took forever to redeem points. I started vaping in august of 2013. I stared with a Halo Triton starter kit that was referred to me from a co worker. he also referred me to MBV. after using my Triton for 2 years I finally got a hand me down Aspire Atlantis and battery. totally changed vaping for me. I have made my last Purchase with Halo, a Halo to Ego adapter. this will allow me to use my Kanger t3S tanks i just ordered with my existing Halo batteries i already have. I am so glad to finally be off proprietary hardware. MBV has always done me well with juices and now hardware.

      There is an option to “share” your purchase on social media after checkout. If a friend clicks on your post and makes a purchase themselves you will earn points. Alternatively, you can go to the Mt Baker Vapor Loyalty page and click the email button. You can fill out the form there and earn points that way if the friend you refer makes a purchase.

    The Loyalty Program was a great idea to retain repeat customers! I personally am more likely to purchase from a place that provides some type of customer loyalty program. The first vape shop I used would offer punch cards for juice purchases– buy 9 bottles get the 10th free. I loved it! My new vape store (where I moved) didnt have a loyalty program, and it was disappointing. So your new program definitely keeps me coming back!!

    Are there any plans to allow referrals via email? My family and I aren’t exactly the “social media” types–mainly because we’re tech saavy and don’t feel that the loss of privacy is worth the platforms offered. I understand that social media is an excellent way to expose the brand, but word-of-mouth is every bit as powerful, if not more so with many people.

    If not referrals via email, maybe a simple box that allows purchasers to answer “who referred you?”
