Keep Your Vape Experience At It’s Best With Vaping Replacement Coils

If you are new to vaping, you may not realize how important replacing your coil is for your vape device. The coil is the part that heats the e-liquid, which allows it to turn into a vapor. Replacement coils (also referred to as atomizer coils) come in either single-coil, which has one heating element, or dual-coil, which has two heating elements vaporizing the e-liquid at the same time. At Mount Baker Vapor, we have a large selection of replacement coils for every brand of vape device we offer in order to ensure your best vaping experience.

How to Tell When it’s Time To Replace Your Coil

There is more than one factor that can lead to a shorter or longer lifespan for your replacement coil. How much you vape on a day-to-day basis, the power level in your vape device, and the acidity of your e-liquid are all reasons. All of these come into play when initially choosing the right vape device or the best e-liquid for you, which are factors we can discuss with you if you are a beginner or an expert.

How can you tell that your replacement coil is reaching the end of its life? Since it’s essential to creating the vapor, when you notice your vape device is producing fewer vapors it usually means you need a replacement coil. You also may notice a change in the taste of the vapor; the taste of the e-liquid may not be as noticeable because it’s getting burnt out by the worn out coil. So instead of tasting the e-liquid through the vapor, you will just begin tasting hot air. There is a general rule of thumb for when to replace your coil that depends on how much you vape. If you are a heavy vaper, you may need to replace it weekly. If you vape a medium amount, you will need a replacement coil about every 2 weeks. For someone who is a light vaper, you may only need a replacement coil after about 3 weeks of vaping.

this is a great article discountedvape.com thanks

  • Lynell Liborio says:

I never can figure out what OHM is best for me. I dont care about vape only flavor. When i use a .30 coil that my watts is at 50. When I use a .5 coil, than my watts are down to 25. Everyone says its personal preference, but I use moo juice in 1 tank and I use hawk sause in another tanak. So its hard to figure out, until maybe i witch my .5 coil out for the spare .3 that was issued.

  • Karysa Johnson says:

Is there any other coil for the joyetech ego one

    • D. Ripper says:

Honestly, you should throw that tank in the trash. I started out with the same tank. I would recommend you pick up a Kangertech subtank mini. The joytech ego one coils are just too small, they flood easy, and are just problematic in general IME. I almost gave up on vaping until I got a kanger tank. Just my 2 cents.

      • Aguilar de Nehra says:

In my experience, I get a lot of dry hits with the Subtank mini. Maybe it depends on your style of vaping. However, the Subtank mini is really good with MTL and lower wattage. I just can’t stand the dry hits when taking longer hits with higher wattage. I think it is not for someone who loves to CC.

    • Paul says:

I love my subtank mini. Cheap to build coils and rewick. Never get dry hits or flooding. It’s all in the technique.

  • Jay says:

I feel like people make the objective task of replacing coils a subjective one…

  • Robert says:

I use the regular kangertech duel coil.Only thing is every box has at least 1 coil that doesn’t work.

  • Christopher Brand says:

    Very informative blog. Big thanks!

  • Bret Cantwell says:

Robert, I have that same experience. On the plus side a 5 pack from MBV is cheaper than 5 at my local vape shop.

  • John says:

    So true, great article!

  • Mimi Norton says:

Wow! I love you e-juice, I’ve never even looked at your great selection of coils! Thanks for the info, I’ll buy here from now one!

  • SARAH MOORE says:

Sometimes when I need to change my coil, the juice starts leaking out of the tank. Is this normal? I have a toptank mini Kangertech.

  • Robert says:

The local shop owner said the regular kangertech duel coil are not being made anymore. Is this true?

  • Amanda M says:

Not a bad selection, just wish you had the Tobecco Super Tank coils. I know I can use the Aspire Atlantis coils, but I can usually get a Tobecco coil to last almost a month compared to an Atlantis for about a week. Still, it’s nice to see that you carry coils that are compatible with a wide variety of tanks!!

  • Kristin says:

Great information!! You guys are so helpful!

  • Sakda detsouvanh says:

    interesting read

  • zach says:

Good advice. Keep in mind that you can often stretch the life of your coils but giving them a rinse between fills. Hot water or a little vodka or iso alcohol can get some of that gunk off and keep flavors clean.

  • Bryan Miller says:
