Innokin iTaste 134 – A Quick Review

The Size And Weight

If you’re looking for something you can easily carry and flaunt wherever you go, you may want to think twice about getting the 134. Spanning 146 mm from one end to another and goes a little over 34 mm-wide at its bulkiest point, the 134 is quite large especially when you consider that most tubular mods just measure a bit over 22 mm wide.

With its dimensions easily filling up my hand, I wasn’t too surprised to find that the 134 weighs significantly heavier than most tubular mods – enough to give my biceps an effective workout each time I vape.

The Build

It’s a beast of a mod. But while it’s not the ideal choice for the demure vaper, the bulky and heavy build sure if the 134 has its share of advantages. The mod is one of the most rugged and sturdiest tubular mods I’ve ever laid my hands on!

The Lightsaber-like, most see it as a railgun though, Innokin iTaste 134 comes equiped with several metal bars around it – giving it a unique look among all other mods. However, these metal bars are not just for show. The bars make the unit easy to hold and it feels good to the grip despite its massive size and substantial weight.

Unique Among Variable Mods

Built from the ground up for strictly variable wattage, the Innokin iTaste is quite a rarity among variable e-cigarettes. While there are no options of tweaking the voltage, you can easily adjust the wattage by turning the ring sitting between battery and controller area. With half watt increments, it’s easy to find the accurate settings to maximize your vaping experience. To top it off, the 134’s larger size makes it easier to check the current settings.

Technically Excellent

Innokin has been synonymous with excellent variable wattage mod. The iTaste 134 lived up to its manufacturer’s reputation. Yes, accurately testing wattage output is difficult but the 134’s power output measures really close to what it’s set to.

And with enough wattage options available, 6.5 to 12.5 watts, combined with a 3.5 amps-current limit, the Innokin iTaste 134 has more than enough output options to cater to discerning and varying taste of vapers.

  1. With all those protective bars and killer looks comes the inability to keep it clean as well. I absolutely love mine and I’ve dropped it more than once only to find that it still works like the day I bought it. Only problem is keeping it “looking” like the day I bought it. It would take the better part of a day and special equipment to get these things clean and keep them that way.

    1. You are totally right, Chad. Do you have a microfiber cloth? Those can certainly help but the awesome design certainly gets in the way!

  2. Just ordered, want to track my purchase how do i do so? i did the purchase as a guest now i made an account what do i do?

    1. You should have received a shipping tracking number when you completed your order. You can simply google that number and track it via USPS’s website. And then count down the days until your vape mail arrives!
