What’s UNDER Your Bottle?

… A brief addendum to “What’s in Your Bottle?”

In light of some recent confusion surrounding a blog post detailing the heavy metal antimony, which is used in the production of Polyethylene terephthalate, often abbreviated as PET, I felt some clarification was needed on which types of plastics are deemed, “food safe.”

What’s in Your Bottle?

POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE— ever heard of it?  Chances are, you have not.

And this is not to say that you are not well-versed in the egregiously complicated language of chemistry because I’m sure you are. However, if you are like me (Lawd Jesus, I hope you are not like me), busy as all hell, sprinting through life, then you probably do not have time to flip your bottle upside down in order to see what type of plastic is being used. That, and you probably never gave it much thought… until now.

I’m just being honest people.

“Is a Lie Still a Lie if You Say it Pretty?”

As Red so eloquently stated in Shawshank Redemption… “You Godda#m right!”

It is not so much that we are shocked by the actions and behavior of government agencies, agenda-driven politicians and shameful health groups who turn a blind eye to the crucially pertinent truth, but rather we are tired, tired of having the same strategic, soulless rhetoric spat in our faces despite the overwhelming evidence.

Oral Health After Making The Switch

It goes without saying that smoking traditional cigarettes isn’t exactly great for your oral health. What about vaping? There was a study done in Italy which evaluated smokers turned vapers to see specifically how their oral health was affected in the transition and aftermath.

Are You a Considerate Vaper?

As a vaper, (especially one who has quit smoking with vaping), it is very easy to get excited about vaping… everywhere, all the time, even in places we maybe, probably shouldn’t. With today’s vapers being under a constant microscope, legislators looking for any reason to impose more taxes, or enact a ban altogether – it is probably best we practice our manners and make sure we aren’t committing any faux pas when it comes to how, when and where we vape.

… Is the uberly difficult to pronounce word of the minute, hour, day, week, month, year and indefinite future, so it seems… at least as far as vaping is concerned.

Indefatigable, pronounced “in-di-fat-i-guh-buhl”, is an adjective used to describe a person or entity, usually in regards to their efforts, that is incapable of being tired out; not yielding to fatigue; untiring.

A Revolution This Way Comes

Is it just me or does it seem like the British are one step ahead of the curve on virtually… EVERYTHING?

I mean, think of all the objects and/or items you utilize occasionally if not on a daily basis. Quite a bit, huh? Yeah, same here. Now do a quick Google or Yahoo! search on the origins of these items and I bet you’d be amazed at how many were conjured up and brought into existence by someone of British origin.

It’s really astonishing how revolutionary the Brits were, are… and will most likely continue to be.

Take the World Wide Web for example…

Good Ol’ Chuck Bringing The Noise…

The bosom buddies or those I like to refer to as the “Orcs” of Big Tobacco are at it again y’all.

Over the weekend, New York Senator Chuck Schumer, in all his wisdom, urged the federal government to reverse a recent decision to delay the regulation of e-cigarettes after citing alarming data that show one in five teens in New York State… wait for it… vape.

– Cue the GASPS from government lobbyist’s! –

A nicotine delivery gadget called, “Juul” has become especially popular among teenagers because it’s easy to hide, Schumer said at a press conference in Manhattan.
