  1. Shouldnt forget John Cusack, he is an avid vaper. Listen to the Nerdist podcast he was on, you can hear him vape more than an Ownlife podcast.

    1. I smoked menthol cigarettes for 35 yrs. I was so afraid of COPD because I saw how it crippled people around me. I quit those cigs on Sept 4 2014 with the help of vaping . Thank goodness for this alternative. Now I can’t stand the smell of cigarettes!

  2. I think Leonardo DiCaprio is the most convincing vaper and best role-model of these. His public picture is also in general so good that some people might actually catch his hint about quitting smoking.

    1. Glad to see this. I smoked 25 years. Tried different capes over time. Found a great juice and can say I’ve quit for 8 months now.

  3. No need to scale back on Ownlife Tim, you guys are passionate and it lets me know you guys are vapers talking to other vapers!

  4. I’m most impressed with Katherine Hiegel making the healthy choice to vape. I was introduced to it by my Army son and his wife, and am slowly giving up cigarettes for good after 40 years!

    1. Slow and steady wins the race! Keep up the good work. We’re all trying to get to the same destination, and everyone makes it on their own time. I’m at the point now where I can’t even remember my last cigarette. Stay strong, and vape on!

    2. That is so wonderful to hear! My mom smoked for 45 years, promised “if i graduate high school, if i get married, etc”; she picked up a vape, put down the cigs the same day and hasn’t gone back! My brother a 15 year smoked quit and hasn’t had a smoke in 2 years. I started vaping 2 years ago and just quit smoking, it’s only been 3 weeks, but it feels amazing! Work your own pace, and keep up the good work! What helped me to fully quit was upgrading to a nice mod and tank, and finding the right flavor to vape on! Good luck! I don’t even know you but I am so proud of you!! ^.^

  5. Thats some pretty cool info about the stars going vape…especially Jack Nicholson…now if we could get it in a major movie…wow that would knock the cheese off the cracker..lol

    1. “Going vape” – that’s a phrase I think people should start using more. I’ve seen vaping in the TV show True Detective, but not really in any big movies yet. I bet one day it will be as common as seeing actors smoke cigarettes.

    2. Damn it, theyve had vaping in a couple different movies and extremely visible as well just cant remember titles, one movie probably ghe biggest one that i saw had a sheriff vaping, i just cant for the life of me remember the title

  6. Wish these celebrities would advocate publicly for our rights to vape. Their voice could go a long way in our fight against the FDA.

    1. I think just being seen vaping publicly does a lot of good. Celebrities do play a big role in influencing opinions in our society, and when more people see them vape, there will be a greater chance for change. A commercial or some sort of ad with celebrity vapers would do us a lot of good though.

      1. The new person taking over the FDA has already given us leniency, it’s the anti-smokers that are anti vaping also. We need to find a way to show how much better vaping is. Get some real facts out there and crush the propaganda. People just see a big cloud and think “ewwy, I don’t want to die from your smoke”. Being a public vapist I get the looks, I wish they would say something so we can try to educate. New is scary, change is scary, but it doesn’t have to all be bad.

    1. I need to check this out! We were discussing Star Wars yesterday and now it keeps popping up 🙂 Its a sign.

  7. Yeah I just noticed when JJ Abrams is speaking to the cast and crew in the Secrets of the Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey about Harrison ford and thanking him, Harrison hugs Chewbacca (@38:40) and in his left hand he is holding a Vaporizer…
